Who are we?

River Deep Mountain High started in Galway in 1989 carrying a range of specialist clothing and equipment for hikers and paddlers. Today we carry a wider selection to suit all your outdoor needs.

Everyone on the RDMH team is in their own way a dedicated outdoor enthusiast; when they’re not in the shop our staff are kayakers, hillwalkers, swimmers and runners.
